Radio Wolfgang is a multi-award-winning production arm of Auddy, a leading publishing, marketing and distribution company in the audio space. We produce everything from documentaries to studio shows; creating exciting and original content for public, brand-fan and private audiences. Our diverse roster of clients include brands such as Selfridges and organisations like Greenpeace, whilst also creating outstanding audio work for other Auddy divisions.

Radio Wolfgang has currently an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager. The role, which reports to the Managing Director (MD), carries responsibility for all logistical and administrative aspects of production and the direct supervision of a Production Coordinator. The position would suit candidates with at least three (3) years’ experience in audio (ideally including podcast) production management – and we would welcome CVs that offer broader, but still audio-centric, experience such as working with podcasts on YouTube and “live” podcasting.

Responsibilities include:

• Ownership of all operational, logistical and administrative aspects of the Company’s audio productions – and other key administrative components of our business.

• Developing, managing and reporting on production budgets and schedules – and on some non-production budget lines.

• Sourcing, interviewing and hiring crew and talent – including freelancers contributors and permanent staff.

• Reviewing creative treatments and proposals with the Director of Programmes, MD, Executive Producers and other key team members.

• Interaction with Clients’ representatives – who may be creative, commercial, administrative and/or in an executive role, depending on the matter to be addressed and/or the stage in each project’s lifecycle at which the interaction is occurring;

• Owning contractual discussion and the structure of agreements with talent and contributors.

• In close coordination with Auddy’s Finance team, management of all invoicing and other accounting functions, ensuring timely settlement of Radio Wolfgang’s financial commitments.

• Ensuring that the Executive Producer or other person leading each new production is equipped with tools, templates and other helpful assets. • Arranging – studio bookings; equipment bookings and purchases; access to third party services and to licenced software, libraries and other resources; local and wider range travel and transportation; benefits for talent and contributors etc.

• Designing and maintaining systems and processes that will ensure that the MD is aware of the progress of every project, that any issues are flagged as soon as possible after they are identified.

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable internal and external (including Government or other mandated) regulations and policies that affect the production process, the identification or hiring of resources or the billing and delivery of projects.

• Forging and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues in other areas of the Auddy family – to (for example) ensure

(i) the smooth and efficient set up of podcast hosting, artwork development and other logistic elements,

(ii) clarity regarding data required from Radio Wolfgang projects,

• Managing – and keeping track of – Company-owned physical assets.

• Acting as a sounding board and advocate for team members if and when issues arise and need to be addressed – dealing with matters personally and/or escalating them as appropriate to each situation;

What we are looking for:

• Someone who genuinely loves podcasts and audio-centric production;

• A driver – who gets things done and is willing to adapt strategies and tactics to function effectively;

• A person who really cares about quality – as it relates to the creative product and to the infrastructure and processes that are critical to the delivery of that product;

• Great communication skills, written and verbal;

• Previous experience (at least 3 years) within a formal audio production management role – preferably in podcasting;

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven production environment – including when teams and team members are not located centrally;

• Focus and attention to detail – taking care that all work delivered to Clients, the MD and to colleagues is of the highest quality;

• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively – while having in mind also the morale and wellbeing of the team;

• Proficiency in creating, reviewing and updating documents and spreadsheets (note that, currently, we use both Microsoft and Google documentation platforms);

• The ability to work independently as well as to lead a team – with strong organisational skills and with passion and enthusiasm; • Resilience and demonstrated determination – always with a proactive and positive stance;

• Candidates who are both approachable and authoritative – not afraid to challenge others when that is needed, but who are careful to do so in a manner that encourages progress and meeting shared objectives and does not demotivate;

• Someone who enjoys working with people and cares about diversity in all of its aspects.

Role: Customer Success Manager

(Full-Time)

Salary: Salary plus Equity

Auddy was launched to bring a fresh approach to the growing podcast market. In only two years, we have built a tech-based publishing solution and a foundation of exceptional creativity and storytelling and ultimately created a one-stop shop for creators and brands to achieve their goals through podcasts.

We provide audio solutions including strategy, production, sales, marketing and advertising and work with creators and brands across the UK and Europe.

But don’t take our word for it….we have won numerous awards to highlight this.

We are now hiring a Client Success Manager.

WHO ARE WE?

We believe in doing the right thing for our clients, our partners, our people, our audiences, our communities and our shareholders. We believe in being a diverse and inclusive business – and strive to ensure that our community is fairly represented both within the business and within our content. We are constantly striving to be at the forefront of the podcast community. We seek out ways to evolve and improve. We are progressive, agile and dynamic. We possess a healthy curiosity about the world around us. We are optimists.

Based in London (with US and other international operations), Auddy is now moving into a further phase and we are expanding our sales and marketing arm. We are looking for a Client Success Manager to join our team in the UK / working remotely.

Auddy has two very different but equally important types of client, our advertisers, and our podcasters. In this role you will be responsible for both, helping our advertisers identify the right shows and talents that match their campaign objectives, and then guiding our podcasters to successfully deliver each campaign and to grow their revenue.

LIFE WITH AUDDY

At present, although we are a fully remote company with employees principally based in the UK, and with several members in the United States, we are frequently together as a team, whether for structed meetings or casual get togethers. You will be expected to operate autonomously – and with some flexibility but in regular dialogue with the rest of the business. You can also expect to have calls outside of your normal working day in order to facilitate communication with different time zones.

We have an open culture, with ideas welcome from all corners and acknowledging that every team member can contribute to a healthy bottom line. We have big ambitions and are fast-paced in pursuit of these goals.

What will our Client Success Manager do?

You will be directly responsible for managing, nurturing and growing the revenue from an existing base of advertising clients. To fuel that objective, you will manage a rapidly growing volume of advertising inventory and podcast talent.

Specific Responsibilities:

Reporting into The Chief Revenue Officer you will be required to:

  • Build strong relationships with an existing base of advertising clients in order to generate revenue from new campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with current, and new podcasters in order to fully understand the opportunities available to advertisers.
  • Manage the complete journey of a campaign, from initial signed order though to podcaster delivery, through to post-campaign reporting.
  • Be comfortable and competent managing multiple campaigns and responses at any one time in multiple countries.
  • Using knowledge gained from the needs of your advertising clients, work closely with The Podcast Acquisition Team to help guide them towards new shows and trends that would strengthen our total offering.
  • Provide some support to the CRO when working on big new client pitches (and therefore future clients for you).

As Client Success Manager you:

  • Have experience in building trust and developing client relationships.
  • Have media sales experience, preferably in the podcast / audio world.
  • Are used to working in a competitive sales environment with revenue targets.
  • Are able to demonstrate the ability to work within a team, but to also pursue opportunities on your own and make decisions to reach the goals.
  • Are exceptionally well organised and able to use those skills to be proactive and reactive to the needs of your clients on both sides.

Who you are:

  • You relish the opportunities and the challenges that come with working for a fast-growing new business.
  • You are excited by the idea of owning shares in a company that you work for.
  • Your communication skills are exceptional.
  • You continually advance many significant opportunities and situations in an organized and expedient manner.
  • Not only are you curious about podcasts, but you also have strong analytical skills to assess their opportunities for advertisers.
  • You are experienced in using all the ways of a traditional sales operation to build presentations, report pipeline and manage campaign performance and reporting.
