What will our Digital Media Manager do?

Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for developing effective and efficient targeted marketing campaigns to both B2B (80%) and B2C (20%) audiences. You will work closely with the business unit leads (Ad Sales, Production, Auddy for Business) and external clients to develop the core messages, media channels and strategy to drive successful outcomes. You will be the media lead for Auddy for all business units and external clients including UK, Europe and US markets.

How you will add value

Your primary objective in this role is to build an efficient media approach to grow the business through targeted channels. You will manage media campaigns for internal business units and client relationships, working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Social and Business Development teams.

Your role and responsibilities include

  • Media strategy, planning, buying, optimisation and reporting across all paid channels
  • Driving efficient marketing campaigns to engage B2B (80%) and B2C (20%) audiences
  • Establish paid digital strategies and subsequent campaigns across existing, and new, social media channels, including setting and analysing KPIs/ROI, and end-to-end campaign management
  • Establish and build digital audiences for the Company’s products and brands
  • Working closely with the CMO, Social, Web and BD teams to refine our growth marketing approach
  • Diligently tracking and reporting on weekly activity and marketing campaigns

Skills and expectations

  • Extensive experience working in response driven media and delivered highly efficient and successful campaigns.
  • Experience with building strategies, creating and delivering paid campaigns across key digital platforms, inclusive of but not exclusive to, Search incl. MetaSearch SEO, PPC, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and email
  • Strong understanding of the sales and marketing funnel and retargeting strategies to support audience growth/data capture and conversion on product.
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated hands on approach in utilising Google Display Network and Google Analytics
  • Experience delivering a cross-functional Growth Strategy
    Utilise data and in-depth discovery to build a clear understanding of our audiences
  • Managing the content editor (50%) to manage databases and e-mail lifecycle campaigns from acquisition, through to conversion, retention and reactivation
  • Experience in creating a best-in-class customer journey and experience on websites with the ultimate ambition of growing audience and securing conversion

We are now hiring a Media Sales Manager to accelerate our growth.

Based in London (with US and other international operations), Auddy is now moving into a further phase and we are expanding our sales and marketing arm. We are looking for a Media Sales Executive to join our team in the UK / working remotely.

Auddy has two very different but equally important types of client, our advertisers, and our podcasters. In this role you will sit between both, helping new advertisers identify the right shows and talents that match their campaign objectives, and then guiding our podcasters to successfully deliver each campaign and to grow their revenue.

LIFE WITH AUDDY

At present, although we are a fully remote company with employees principally based in the UK, and with several members in the United States, we are frequently together as a team, whether for structed meetings or casual get togethers. You will be expected to operate autonomously – and with some flexibility but in regular dialogue with the rest of the business. You can also expect to have calls outside of your normal working day in order to facilitate communication with different time zones.

What will our Media Sales Manager – Podcasting do?

You will be responsible for the sourcing of new advertiser clients, developing these leads through a pipeline of sales conversion and ultimately managing the complete journey of a new sale through to setting the new client’s campaign live. You’ll also rely on your skills to increase the per client revenue within our a growing base of existing advertisers.

Specific Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Initiate the sales prospecting of your own leads, building a pipeline of new clients and campaigns.
  • Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiries.
  • Track and report on weekly activity, using company forms.
  • At any one time, manage multiple campaigns and clients across several countries.
  • Support the CRO on big client pitches as required.
  • Represent Auddy at relevant meetings and events within the UK.
  • Work closely with the Podcast Acquisition Manager to ensure you are fully aware of Auddy’s constantly growing range of podcasts and talent.

Who you are:

  • You love selling and winning.
  • You relish the opportunities and the challenges that come with working for a fast-growing new business.
  • Your communication skills are exceptional, often showing the skill of conveying complex ideas.
  • Not only do you enjoy podcasts, but you also have strong analytical skills or can learn how to assess their opportunities for advertisers.
  • You are experienced in using all the ways of a traditional sales operation to build presentations, report pipeline and manage campaign performance and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, opportunistic and decisive.

As Media Sales Executive you:

  • Already have 3+ years media sales experience, preferably in audio.
  • Are used to working in a competitive sales environment with revenue targets.
  • Are exceptionally well organised.
  • Have an ability to be a team member.

Salary to £40k + Commission.

Role: Production Manager

Reporting to: Radio Wolfgang Managing Director

Salary: £50k pro rata

3 days per week

Responsibilities include: 

• Ownership of all operational, logistical and administrative aspects of the Company’s audio  productions – and other key administrative components of our business.

• Developing, managing and reporting on production budgets and schedules – and on some  non-production budget lines.

• Sourcing, interviewing and hiring crew and talent – including freelancers contributors and  permanent staff.

• Reviewing creative treatments and proposals with the Director of Programmes,  MD, Executive Producers and other key team members.

• Interaction with Clients’ representatives – who may be creative, commercial, administrative  and/or in an executive role, depending on the matter to be addressed and/or the stage in  each project’s lifecycle at which the interaction is occurring;

• Owning contractual discussion and the structure of agreements with talent and contributors. • In close coordination with Auddy’s Finance team, management of all invoicing and other  accounting functions, ensuring timely settlement of Radio Wolfgang’s  financial commitments.

• Ensuring that the Executive Producer or other person leading each new production is  equipped with tools, templates and other helpful assets.

• Arranging – studio bookings; equipment bookings and purchases; access to third party  services and to licensed software, libraries and other resources; local and wider range travel  and transportation; benefits for talent and contributors etc.

• Designing and maintaining systems and processes that will ensure that the MD is aware of  the progress of every project, that any issues are flagged as soon as possible after they are  identified.

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable internal and external (including Government or other  mandated) regulations and policies that affect the production process, the identification or hiring of resources or the billing and delivery of projects.

• Forging and maintaining strong working relationships with colleagues in other areas of the  Auddy family – to (for example) ensure

• (i) the smooth and efficient set up of podcast hosting, artwork

• (ii) development and other logistic elements,

• (iii) clarity regarding data required from Radio Wolfgang projects,

• Managing – and keeping track of – Company-owned physical assets.

• Acting as a sounding board and advocate for team members if and when issues arise and  need to be addressed – dealing with matters personally and/or escalating them as  appropriate to each situation

What we are looking for:

• Someone who genuinely loves podcasts and audio-centric production;

• A driver – who gets things done and is willing to adapt strategies and tactics to  function effectively;

• A person who really cares about quality – as it relates to the creative product and to  the infrastructure and processes that are critical to the delivery of that product; • Great communication skills, written and verbal;

• Previous experience (at least 3 years) within a formal audio production management role – preferably in podcasting;

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven production environment  – including when teams and team members are not located centrally;

• Focus and attention to detail – taking care that all work delivered to Clients, the MD and to  colleagues is of the highest quality;

• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively – while having in mind also the morale and well-being  of the team;

• Proficiency in creating, reviewing and updating documents and spreadsheets (note  that, currently, we use both Microsoft and Google documentation platforms); • The ability to work independently as well as to lead a team – with strong organisational skills  and with passion and enthusiasm;

• Resilience and demonstrated determination – always with a proactive and positive stance; • Candidates who are both approachable and authoritative – not afraid to challenge  others when that is needed, but who are careful to do so in a manner that encourages  progress and meeting shared objectives and does not demotivate;

• Someone who enjoys working with people and cares about diversity in all of its aspects.
